JUDGE A MOCK TRIAL, MOOT COURT OR TEEN COURT
Judging is a terrific way to volunteer as you have time, and in an area convenient to you! Teen Court is held every two weeks (with some exceptions) at the Baltimore City Eastside District Courthouse. Judges preside over Teen Court sessions (on average 2-3 cases per evening); a script can be mailed to you in advance. Moot Court is a one-day competition that takes place in the Fall. Please check back in September of 2017 for the date.
Mock Trial competitions take place in many counties and Baltimore City. As a result, it is easy to find something relatively convenient to where you live or work. Competitions last approximately 2 hours, and are typically held between the hours of 4-7pm.
Alternatively, if you want an opportunity to volunteer on a longer-term basis, our Mock Trial teams are always in need of Attorney Advisors! The amount of time varies from school to school, and is ultimately up to the attorney and team to decide how often you'll meet.
