Law Links Interns 2016
opportunity & obligation
Law Links is a unique opportunity for Baltimore City high school students to intern in law-related settings during summer months. In partnership with area law firms, law-related agencies, and non-profits, students work full-time for seven weeks. They are outfitted with professional attire from Ann Taylor and Joseph Banks, so there is no question of "appropriate" attire.
As part of their internship, students attend the Law & Leadership Institute, which is a 50+-hour educational component that begins with a 2-1/2 day orientation and resumes each Wednesday morning throughout the internship. The Institute is held on the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law campus.
We are pleased to note that more than 800 young people have been offered internships since the program's inception in 1994.
