Print these activities for use in your law or government classes. They make great warm-up activities and/or introductions to law-related lessons.
Political cartoons provide concise, humorous (or heart-tugging), quick-witted snapshots of all kinds of issues—from politics and law to education and general humanitarian efforts. We have developed this publication in the hope that educators will incorporate it into daily discussions with their students-- to spark debates, critical thinking, and comprehensive, careful analysis of events happening in the world around us.

The School Court Guide will assist you in beginning or enhancing your School Court program. The guide includes suggestions for school courts models, a detailed curriculum, and activity section. CLREP staff are available to conduct school court implementation training and technical assistance with your program.

Solving & Resolving lessons and cd-rom offer educators and students an interactive look at personal choice and consequences in relation to conflict resolution.
Law-Related Core Learning Goals Resource Manual
As with all of our publications, the Citizenship Law-Related Education Program for the Schools of Maryland strives to assist educators with current standards and goals in the field of law-related education. As part of these continuing efforts, CLREP is proud to provide the Law-Related Core Learning Goals Resource Guide, in conjunction with Maryland's Social Studies Standards. The guide includes the following:
  • Thirty one lessons with accompanying activities/resources;
  • A section on law-related activities,
  • A section that summarizes mandatory and/or relevant Supreme Court decisions,
  • A comprehensive glossary that covers dozens of law-related terms and vocabulary words from the enclosed lessons.

All publications are available in print-form (in limited quantities) by calling CLREP. Publications and brochures are provided on this website in PDF format for your convenience and ease-of-use for nonprofit, educational purposes.
